This is the front yard after I buried your Mom ..I think it looks pretty good.....I just hope they never figure out where she went...*wink wink*...;)

Your Mother in all her wisdom decided that the grass was not growing properly in the front yard where our tree used to be, so she started to dig it up (sigh) so after she informed me of this fact I had to help dig up the grass now we have a wonderfull hole AGAIN! We will buy some sod and try that .I will keep you upto date on the ins and outs of this continuing saga. Love Dad

Is it too much to ask to be able to take a nap without SOMEONE sitting on me!!

Trimming the Bushes

Before

Our bushes in the front of our house were way-overdue for a trimming. So with a neighborhood crown gathered on their front porches across the street, Grandma and I took them on last night with the electric trimmer and hand clipper. This is the 'before shot'. As you can see, you can't even see that they are actually 3 bushes or the ground underneath them. Also, note that they were inching towards the height of the bedroom windows on one side. Way tooooooo high!

After

Here we are with the 'after' photo. Quite the improvement! I decided not to try and separate them into 3 individual bushes since they never grow at the same pace anyways.....just to trim them back. Notice how nice and round I got the big one and now we will actually be able to get the lawn mower closer when cutting since we really got underneath in the front and trimmed and cleaned that out really good. Grandma was great; she was down on her hands and knees really working under there! They look a little brown in spots now, but that will green back out in no time. As for the neighbors....we got a "job well done"!
