When I was 21.........

I don't mean to brag but I think I was pretty hot back when I was 21 years of age. Don't you agree? Too bad when this picture was taken I had already been married almost a year. Shucks!

Watermelon Wonder!

Ok, Grandms says I am becoming a "blog slacker". And, who am I to argue with Grandma? So I thought I would post a picture of part of my garden in the back yard. In the front box are two tomatoe plants....no big deal. What I want you to notice is the one and only plant in the next box. That is a watermelon plant and there is a reason why it is in there by itself. It's going to need the space because it's going to get HUGE. I will post pictures as it grows so we all can keep up with this "Watermelon Wonder".

Planting the Garden......

Yes, it's that time of the year again! I usually do not like to plant anything until Memorial Day and this year, I was right on schedule. Grandma and I headed to Steins to pick out our plants over the weekend and here I am planting.

1. 4 Tomatoe plants
2. 1 Watermelon plant
3. 1 Cucumber plant
4. 12 Geraniums in the front of the house

Grandma also planted green onions in a pot and two pots of sunflowers for the patio. Can't wait to see what pops up in those! She was also very busy spreading bark all over the place. She says it makes everything look pretty....whatever.

Will keep you posted as the plants grow, especially that watermelon plant!

Chapter Two of the bunny tale

let's see...hmmm where did we end off? Oh yea I remember now. Sparkles was out side doing her duty before heading to bed. At least that's what I THOUGHT she was doing. I looked outside because she was taking a much longer time than normal besides I wanted to go to bed my self. Sparkles seemed to be chewing on something I wasn't sure what it was but she refused to come back inside. I called and yelled and screamed as loud as I could without waking the neighbors who live just next door. She still wouldn't come in and kept on chewing away.Finally she either finished what she was eating or she just swallowed it whole and finally came inside and we headed to bed for the night. Little did I know that the horror would continue the following morning.

A Tale about a baby bunny's tail

CHAPTER ONE

Once upon a time along long time ago....(okay so it was a couple of weeks ago but that's a long time) Sparkles had just gone outside to do her duty before heading to bed for the night. Now normaly she's out and back in quite quickly. But on this particular night it seemed she was spending an aweful long time out there.
